Each Sunday at 9:30am we participate in an informal, liturgical Holy Communion service with both contemporary music and hymns. Sunday Worship is now both in person and online.
The online component will be live-streamed thru YouTube and Facebook.
Music to prepare for worship usually begins five minutes prior to the actual worship time. Arriving a few minutes early allows you to get settled and comfortable.
We believe that God is much more concerned with your heart than your outward appearance. Most of our people wear business casual. However, we have individuals who do dress up and individuals who wear casual clothing. Come as you are; we want you to feel comfortable.
Children are welcome to be with you during worship. There will always be a Children’s Message during the worship service, where children are invited forward to receive a message from the pastor about Jesus. Families are invited to bring supplies from home to help children engage in quiet time during worship, but we are hopeful to hear their joyous noise of singing and prayers alongside the assembly gathered. We also have a “PrayGround” inside the sanctuary where our Littlest Lutherans can engage with their parents in quiet time reading books and coloring during worship. Children PreK-4th grade are offered Children's Church on the 1st and 3rd Sunday of each month.
We have introductory music while people gather. We begin our worship with announcements, a casual greeting and song of praise. This leads into two or three readings from the Bible. The pastor will give about a 10-15 minute message that we hope is relevant to your life. After the message, we’ll take an offering. As our guests, we don’t want you to feel that you have to give anything. We then will move to Holy Communion where all are welcome to the Lord’s Table. There will then be a blessing and a closing song. People will then leave the sanctuary as other music is played. All are welcome to join us for conversation, coffee and refreshments during Fellowship Time in the adjoining space.
